Bollards

Bollards are a proven way to protect people, property, and assets by clearly separating vehicles from pedestrian areas. Selecting the correct bollard for the application is critical, factors such as impact rating, construction, and installation method must be compared on a like-for-like basis. Our range of fixed, removable, and heavy-duty bollards are specified and installed to suit each site’s risks and compliance requirements, delivering reliable, long-term protection.

Fixed Bollards

Fixed bollards provide permanent, reliable protection in areas where vehicle access is not required. They are well suited to pedestrian walkways, building frontages, storefronts, car parks, loading zones, and asset protection around critical infrastructure. Depending on the risk profile, they range from light-duty bollards for visual delineation, through medium-duty units for low-speed vehicle control, to hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) bollards designed to withstand deliberate or high-energy vehicle impact.

Removable Inground

In-ground removable bollards offer a flexible security solution where controlled vehicle access is required from time to time. They are ideal for driveways, service lanes, fire access routes, shared zones, and areas that alternate between pedestrian use and vehicle access. When locked in place, removable bollards provide a high level of protection; when access is needed, they can be quickly removed. Available in light, medium, and heavy-duty configurations, including impact-rated options

Decorative

Decorative bollards are designed to provide protection and access control while enhancing the visual appeal of public and commercial spaces. They are commonly used in streetscapes, town centres, retail precincts, parks, plazas, and heritage-sensitive areas where aesthetics are as important as function. Available in a range of styles and finishes—including concrete, steel, and architectural designs

HVM - Hostile Vehicle Mitigation

Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) bollards are engineered to protect high-risk locations from deliberate or high-energy vehicle impact. They are typically specified for government facilities, defence sites, critical infrastructure, transport hubs, and high-profile commercial or public spaces. HVM bollards are available in fixed, retractable, and shallow-mount configurations, allowing the level of protection to be tailored to both security requirements and site constraints. Shallow-mount options are particularly effective where underground services limit excavation depth, while retractable systems provide controlled access without compromising impact performance. All HVM solutions must be carefully specified and installed to meet the required performance ratings and site conditions.
